As we all know  – it takes a village to raise a child. But more and more budget cuts mean that our under-funded village school needs a lot that it just doesn’t have. So we’re busy working on the remedy – simply all pitching in to make our school the best it can be.

Friends of Tetherdown is the name of the school PSA (Parent Staff Association) and is a registered charity (Registered charity No. 1054520) run by parent volunteers with the aim of enhancing the educational experience of our children. Everyone in the school community is a member – automatically.

To raise funds we organise and run a host of wonderful events through the school year. Some big and fabulous, some small and cosy. All of them bring our lovely community together, delighting the children (and parents) and boosting our school.

Friends of Tetherdown also provides a platform where all parents and staff can work together, collaborating to create the shared vision we have for our school.

So please read on. Get involved. There are so many ways to give.
