Message from Mia

Hello dear friends.

I think it’s fair to say that we’ve all had a very challenging 2020 so far and it continues to be so with this latest lockdown.

However now that the children are back at school, it’s time to pull together, learn to look at things in a new way, work out how we can resurrect the sense of community and raise much needed funds for our lovely school.

The committee members are putting their heads together to come up with creative events and innovative ideas for this school year. In the meantime, I can say for sure, that there will be no events for parents at school this term and beyond that, we will have to play it by ear – following government and school guidelines.

However, for Years 1 – 6 we have scheduled the ever-popular Silent Disco to take place during the school day in the last week of term. There will also be online events for parents (starting with the Tetherdown Singers and Cooking with Emma Spitzer) and definitely more new and interesting things for us all to enjoy. So watch this space.

And if anyone has ideas for fundraising, please do get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
